A man in his 50's was arrested just outside of Exeter on suspicion of attempted murder.

Following from last night's incident where 3 men were stabbed and 2 women were hit by the suspects car, the suspect was traced and arrested just before he made it to Exeter
The victims are all receiving medical care and their next of kin's informed.
Police have confirmed that they are not treating this as a terror event.
A whitnesses has reported that the suspect knew the 2 women that he ran over with his vehicle, outside the pub, then stabbed any individuals that tried to help them.
